Pottering About

I have been known every since I was little to stop my family getting rid of things I can use for 'craft'. A couple of months ago my sister was throwing out a giant bowl-sized mug she had because the bottom was hollow and going mouldy! 

It was just too cute to see it the bin so I fished it out and got my dad to drill of hole in the bottom turning it into....

a flower pot!

Ta-Dah!

I hadn't got around to put any flowers in it for weeks (I tried to grow saplings but the seeds were so old they didn't sprout). Then last week I finally potted up these gorgeous violets (I think they're violets).
