Potato.

Are great for personalising things. You can stamp onto cards and wrapping paper for pretty presents or make your own fabric print! This was my first time potato stamp-ing. Since there are lots of blogs showing how to stamp already, I thought I'd just share some beginner tips.

I spent a while figuring out my design before I cut it out so I knew exactly what I was doing. Painting the cactus onto the potato first made it really easy to cut out correctly too!

I used a combination of a blade set and wood carving tools to get the most accurate shapes!

Here's what I stamped:

Art book cover.

Bandana with fabric paint.

Stationary for school.

Potato stamps make simple and utterly wonderful for creating stamps- I guess the only downside is that they kinda go off after a while...
