Garden Bells and Painted Feathers

Ok, first- I've had an idea! My plan is to do "Serious Saturday" and "Silly Sunday" posts. Don't worry- I'm not considering giving maths tests on the first day of the weekend or free clown backgrounds on the second! I think I'll have a proper post on Saturday, one that took a lot of hours/time/thought and is visually spectacular (well, possibly). Then on Sunday there'll be a shorter post just about something little to do with my life like a playlist or recent crafts!

So for the first sans-clowns Sunday post I wanted to show everyone this bell I've painted to hang in the backyard.

My sister had got it at school to use for christmas craft but she didn't like it so I rescued it from the bin (note: going through my sister's rubbish to remove ceramic objects is not my hobby).

It's just painted with acrylic paint, sprayed with sealer and hung on some beaded thread. The feathers were white but I painted them with watery acrylic too!

Anyway- I'm really happy with this and I hope you enjoyed the first Silly Sunday (any better names are welcome in the comments bellow!).
