Egg Beanies

I hope you all had a lovely Easter- I certainly did. My family went on a road trip and I somehow managed to pack all my eggs safely so none of them broke! I was very proud of myself and equally proud of my little egg beanies.

I've seen little crochet egg warmers for sale before and I'm always looking for a way to make my gifts more personal. These beanies weren't too difficult to create though it would've been fairly tricky if I'd never picked up a crocket hook before. Basically I made a chain long enough to encompass the egg, linked it at the end, then continued to crochet around (reducing as necessary).

I think the watermelon  is my favourite- although the cactus does come pretty close. Which do you like best?

Things got a bit hectic in the last week of school but now I have two whole weeks of holidays so you can look forward regular Sunday posts again!
